About Perfect Practice®

Perfect Practice® got it’s start over 30 years ago. Founded by software development professionals, our emphasis has always been on our clients. Our first offering was Perfect Practice® Time, Billing and Accounting program. We were among the first to introduce Case Management software and pioneered creditor rights and intelligent document assembly automation. We released our Cloud based systems in 2014 while continuing to support server based and most legacy systems.

All programming and customer support is performed in-house and on-shore. We do not sub-contract development nor do we outsource technical support to external companies. You will always receive support from staff who are knowledgeable about the product and informed regarding its usage in your organization.

  • Before you install anything, you have to select a system. With Perfect Practice® you work with product experts right from the beginning. We offer expert consultation and analysis to help define objectives, find the weak points, and discover new possibilities.

  • Your implementation experience is as important as the software you choose. Having your software provider understand the full scope of your firm’s operations and objectives will yield a better long term result with few operational redundancies. Our implementers have the experience and the depth of knowledge needed to keep you out of the woods.

  • Data Analysis – Provide your source data and we’ll analyze it for duplications and data gaps that could affect an electronic migration into Perfect Practice®. We’ll show you what needs to be addressed and the steps needed to do so.

  • Data Conversions made easy – While we can map out your data fields for a conversion, Perfect Practice® has user friendly tools that allow your IT staff to do much of it on their own. They simply match data fields from your old program to the new field name in Perfect Practice®. This allows you to plan your conversion and add Perfect Practice® fields until you have a field for everything prior to going “live”. You can even make changes after the fact without a new conversion. Your IT department will love it.

  • Test Conversions – Before going “live”, we test the conversion process, allowing you to review the data for accuracy and adjust field mappings you wish to change.

  • Multiple source conversions – When initializing your systems, we can accept data from one or multiple source programs in formats such as Microsoft SQL, Excel, ASCII, DBase and more. If you have one program for collections, one for trust and another for accounting, we can typically blend them together into Perfect Practice® during the data conversion process.

  • Firm mergers and splits – When acquiring files from another firm, or splitting up your own in a firm division, we can help plan and execute the necessary handling of data.

  • Project Definition – Whether you choose to go with a more standardized setup that can be deployed quickly or a highly tailored approach with more automated workflow will impact the project timeline and budget. A clearly defined scope of work that reflects your objectives and timelines will help you allocate resources appropriately, stay on track and get up and running quickly.

  • Train the trainers – Most firms want to be independent in setting up their systems and training their staff. We will work extensively with your IT staff and can supplement their efforts whenever, wherever needed.

  • Train your whole staff – We can provide instruction on any level to your whole firm. Our free Webinars and E-learning center are great resources, allowing your staff members to learn the system and brush up on new releases independently.

  • Complete set-up services – Most firms want to be independent in setting up their systems and training their staff. For those who don’t have time or inclination, we offer help with data base and document merge setup.

  • Network and Cloud coordination – We coordinate with your hardware vendor and internal security personnel to install Perfect Practice® on your server or third party hosted system. If utilizing the Perfect Practice® Cloud, we handle the installation for you.

  • At Perfect Practice® we place a premium on timely support Manager’s review inbound support requests and escalate support resources when needed. Calls are typically responded to within an hour if not immediately, unless a specific call back time is requested by the client. Weekend or after hours support can be arranged should you have special projects requiring assistance.

  • Electronic Support Requests Allows you to enter an email support request directly into our system. You can also enter requests through our web site.

  • When you call You speak with a human who can immediately route you to the right person or alert management of a critical issue. You’ll never be in a frustrating call queue.

  • On going educational opportunities – E-learning sessions and webinars are a great way to improve your staff’s proficiency with Perfect Practice®.

  • Customization/Special Services Occasionally you may need extra assistance with a special report, a client audit, custom interface or other thorny technical issue. Whatever you need, we’ll try to help.
