Open Positions

Job Description:

  • Support of Windows, Linux, and Citrix/Terminal servers.
  • Installation, troubleshooting and support of Perfect Practice® software on client’s systems.
  • Follow up on financial details, billing and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback to management.
  • Provide client support and technical issue resolution in person and via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
  • Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systems.
  • Perform light lifting 25lbs.
  • Instruct client in use of Perfect Practice
  • Promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.

Experience:

  • Knowledge of data base applications, use of batch scripts, SQL scripts and utilities are helpful.
  • Windows workstation and server support is required.  Novell and Linux helpful.
  • This position requires excellent listening and problem solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication with clients and Perfect Practice® staff.
  • Accounting experience through general ledger and bank reconciliation a must.
  • Must be able to use file compression utilities, map network drives and create files and folders, knowledge of Windows operating system basics.
  • Basic typing skills to the level of being a touch-typist, minimum 30 words per minute.  Virtually all our work is done on computer and therefore, We will not consider candidates who are not touch typists.

Desired Experience:

  • Report writing experience, Crystal Reports, Access, or Excel would be helpful.
  • Database exposure and understanding with Access, FoxPro, Advantage, or PostGreSQL would be helpful, but not required.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently impart knowledge.

Physical demands:

  • The position requires sitting, use of hands to type, viewing a computer screen, reading written communication, speaking and listening.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk and perform light lifting.

Education:

  • Degree preferred (AS, BS, BA) or equivalent related experience.
  • Computer Science, Information Systems or related degree.
  • MS certifications a plus

Salary range:

  • Salaried mid-level position, offers a base salary commensurate with experience + commission.

Position:

Instructors for ADC must plan and manage the implementation of Case Management and Billing and Accounting software into law firms. Position includes conducting telephone training and planning conferences, on-site training classes and performing product support for software customers of ADC using the Windows based Perfect Practice Time & Billing and Accounting product.  Trainers will have to meet with programmers to coordinate data conversion requirements.  Extensive follow-up skills are required to ensure that clients are accomplishing tasks required for successful implementation of the programs.  Trainers must be able to communicate with a mixed audience of administrators, bookkeepers, CPAs, attorneys, paralegals and secretaries and be able to remain calm in stressful situations should an implementation not go well.  Trainers must possess leadership skills that allow them to keep control during training class and resolve issues without disruption and delay.  Trainers may travel extensively with some trips being out of state, some in state.  Trainer must be available to travel up to 3 – 4 nights per week, every other week.  An autonomous, motivated individual is required, as follow-up is crucial.

Product:

Legal software (for law firms and in-house legal departments).  Handles billing, accounting, trust management, bank reconciliation, general ledger, payroll and more.  Legal Case Management handles case tracking, deadlines, appointments, Rolodex tracking and forms assembly for letter and document production.

Education:

Degree required (BS/BA/JD)
Marketing, Business, Accounting, Computer Science, Communications,  Computer Science, Information Systems, Paralegal Studies or Law Degree.

Experience:

Professional software training, full charge bookkeeping, office administration, accounting or software training skills required.  Candidate must be fully versed in all facets of accounting, bank reconciliation and payroll.  Project management or similar position requiring management of people or processes, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. Candidate must be fully versed in Windows based office automation including MSWord or Corel WordPerfect.
Skills:

Required: 10 key, typists – 35  WPM minimum.  MSWord, automated billing or accounting program usage, some experience with DOS.  WordPerfect with working knowledge of merge codes and macros; automated scheduler, email, data base experience.  Some experience with DOS.

Desired:  Lotus or spreadsheet skills, use of a similar case or product management software package a plus.

Salary range:

Salary Range 30k to 35k based on experience plus Commissions
(Commission – 6% of training/support revenues collected)
